About Callan

Callan Summers got her start in art from an early age, completing her first commissioned portraits at age fourteen and illustrating her first children’s book at eighteen. Since obtaining her MFA in painting from Houston Christian University, she has worked as both a teacher and artist, focusing her artistic efforts on classical portraits and landscapes with a slight modern twist. With the help of her husband (her best marketing wingman) she seeks to create art which focuses on themes of nature, faith, and what it means to be human.
